1:30- 1:50 Intro and Keynote, Alan Wolk, TVREV: The State Of Streaming TV. What You Need to Know and What You Need To Do About It
TVREV’s Alan Wolk will introduce the day’s events and then give a presentation where he reviews some of the key trends they’re seeing in the streaming industry this year, why they matter and what you need to do to make sure you can profit from them.

1:50 - 2:20 Panel: Forget About the Streaming Wars. The Real Battle Is The OS Wars
While the US industry has been focused on the “streaming wars” a far bigger battle is at stake: the OS Wars. This panel will focus on who the key players are, what is at stake and what publishers should be looking out for.

2:20 - 2:35 Fireside Chat: Local News Goes FAST
Tim Hanlon of TVREV Proximity will conduct an interview around how local broadcasters are moving their news shows to FASTs, weaving in personalization and automation to create the local news program of tomorrow.

2:35 - 3:10 Panel: All TV Is Local
The targeting abilities of streaming are rapidly changing the definition of what we call “local TV.” This panel will discuss how local broadcasters are taking advantage of streaming—FASTs in particular—to grow their businesses. The panel will look at how to monetize local TV on FASTs and how syndicated programming—talk shows, judge shows and the like—will also pay a role in the history of local.

3:10 - 3:25 pm - NETWORKING BREAK

3:25 - 3:40 Keynote: Political Advertising on FASTs
This keynote will review the latest research on how campaigns are planning to use FASTs to meet their goals.

3:40 - 4:10 Panel: Context Is the New Demo
The ascendency of generative AI and access to better metadata has advertisers taking a new look at contextual targeting. This panel will look at how understanding everything from emotion to actors to actions helps create a better environment for ads and how that can be used to power everything from shoppable content to personalized channels.

4:10-4:25:  Finding Your Niche: How To Grow A Successful FAST Network [Fireside]
As big studios and big networks get involved in the FAST business, there is still room for smaller players with dedicated niche audiences to thrive. The speaker will share their success stories and what they learned along the way, the good decisions and the bad ones.

4:25 - 5:00 Panel: Are FASTs The New Cable, The New Broadcast, Or Both?
For advertisers, FASTs are the new cable, a way to reach audiences they are not reaching elsewhere and to heavy up on specific demos and geographies. For viewers, they’re the new broadcast—free ad-supported television that provide a way to enjoy a wide range of programs without having to crack open their wallets. Panelists will debate which is the more accurate description and why.
