Jared Collett is the Head of Ad Operations and Analytics at Major League Fishing where he oversees ad and sponsorship product development, digital governance and analytics, ad serving platforms and processes, and email advertising. Jared started his career as a trafficker for a B2B publisher where he quickly rose to Ad Tech Manager and became the first IAB Digital Ad Ops Certified professional in Oklahoma. This rapid rise and designation caught the attention of Major League Fishing, who brought him on as a consultant to facilitate their growth into digital from linear TV. Shortly into the consultation process, Jared was convinced to join Major League Fishing full-time in order to spearhead this expansion into digital. He and his team built the ad ops ecosystem from nothing, leveraging programmatic and direct sold productization across web, app, social, email and livestream properties. Jared keeps a keen eye on opportunities to innovate while looking for ways to connect with and elevate others. Jared has been featured on the Clean.io “Ad Ops All-Stars” podcast and had the privilege of participating in various speaking engagements, conferences and webinars over the past 3 years. And yes, Jared does Ads Ops for fishing…in Oklahoma.

And no, Jared is not an avid fisherman, but does enjoy the occasional fishing outings when he’s not wakesurfing, gaming or socializing with friends and colleagues.
